Imani Temple Christian Fellowship - Who We Are

A Community of Faith – that's who we are.

We're a community of faith in Christ – it all starts with him working in and through us for his glory. Because God loved us so much He sent His Son Jesus – not to condemn us, but to save us – and invite us to be His children, become a part of His family and reveal his purpose and promise as his community of the faithful. What a wonderful thing to know that you are a part of his community of faith– and at Imani Temple Christian Fellowship, we believe we are a faithful living temple of Christ where the wounded are welcome and the faithful have fellowship in Christ.

We live in a broken world and we're all a part of its brokenness; a world that needs saving, and a world where not everything is perfect. Jesus taught us to pray "Your Kingdom come on earth" and that's what we're called to live out as His faith living temple.

And just as God's not selfish, we must not be either; as He brings healing, freedom, peace, hope and joy, and forgiveness as He welcomes people with mercy not judgment, as He has compassion on the suffering and gives strength to the weak, we are mandated to do the same.

By standing firm on His word and allowing the Holy Spirit to do His work in and through us, we're learning to love God, love each other and reach the community not yet visited. Becoming God's faithful living temple of Christ, we're committed being a blessing to the world as His Community of Faith.
